ย่าน mitte คือ ย่านฮิปตลอดกาลของชาวเบอร์ลิน แม้ว่า ranking จะขึ้นๆ ลงๆ บ้าง แถมยังมีย่านใหม่เป็น newcomer มาชิงตำแหน่งท็อปชาร์ทตลอดเวลาไม่ว่าจะเป็น prenzlauer berg, kreuzberg, หรือแม้แต่ ku'damm ที่เค้าบอกกันว่าจะกลับมาฮิปอีกครั้ง (แล้วครั้งเล่า?) แต่ยังไงๆ mitte ก็ไม่เคยไหวหวั่น ยังคงสถาปนาตัวเป็นเสาหลักของเบอร์ลินสไตล์ได้อย่างสวยงามและถาวร

mitte กินอาณาบริเวณของ east berlin ค่อนข้างกว้าง แต่ย่านที่ชอบที่สุด ที่ถึงขนาดว่าอยู่ที่นี่แล้วไม่ได้มามีลงแดงแน่นอนคือ auguststrasse ถนนเดือนสิงหาที่ดูภายนอกแสนจะถ่อมตัว แต่จริงๆ แล้วเป็นตัวจริงที่รวมงานศิลปะเจ๋งๆ แกลเลอรี่ ร้านหนังสือ ร้านอาหาร บาร์ คอนเซ็ปท์สโตร์สุดคูล หรือแม้แต่ร้านจักรยานมือสองขวัญใจนักปั่นเรียงรายตลอดเส้นทาง ที่ชอบที่สุดคือ attitude ของถนนเส้นนี้สอนให้รู้ว่า การเป็นคนคูลเราก็รู้อยู่แก่ใจ เพราะการแสดงออกมันจะฟ้อง ไม่ต้องตะโกนติดป้ายขึ้นทะเบียนให้ผู้มาเยือนเพลียใจว่า... ว้า! มาตั้งไกล ได้แค่เนี่ย?...

'mitte' is the all-time hippest neighborhood in berlin. every though there have many new faces coming to challenge the top position of being berlin style icon like prenzlauer berg, kreuzberg or even (to be) back-on-track ku'damm, mitte always keeps her prosperity and longevity level to the highest.

mitte is occupied a large zone in east berlin area but the centre of art scene is named by 'auguststrasse', the low-key and very humble long narrow street where all art galleries, book stores, hip but real restaurants, bars, cool concept stores or even the 2nd hand bike shop heaven are packed in... the lesson learned from the attitude of this street, being cool is just what you are, not what you say or try to say...

หนทางสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงให้คนแปลกหน้ากลายเป็นคนคุ้นเคย ที่คิดว่าดีที่สุดก็คือ 'เปิดใจ' เปิดมุมมอง ทำความรู้จัก เรียนรู้่ แลกเปลี่ยน และยอมรับด้านที่แตกต่าง ยิ่งถ้าเจอด้านที่เหมือนกัน ก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ดูคืบหน้าและรื่นรมย์ไปได้อีกไกล... เหมือนกับคนแปลกหน้าที่ชื่อ 'เบอร์ลิน' ภาพติดใจที่รู้จัก เบอร์ลินเป็นเมืองมืดหม่น เศร้าหมอง บรรยากาศทึมๆ ดูไม่น่าพิสมัยเอาซะเลย แต่พอได้ละลายพฤติกรรมร่วมกัน ความสัมพันธ์ก็ติดเครื่องเดินหน้าเร็วไปไกลกว่าที่คิด... ไม่ได้ใจง่ายนะ แต่ยิ่งได้รู้จักก็ยิ่งพบว่าเค้า 'น่ารัก' จริงๆ... :)

To become no longer stranger, the one best approach ever is 'to open your mind' - the organic process to learn and know each other while celebrating the similarity and embracing the difference in order to bound up the healthy relationship... likewise 'berlin', the first impression is such a dull, dark and sad city to be, not in a good shape at all. But after spending time together through various ice breaking techniques, it's unbelievable that actually berlin is such a lovely city and the relationship between two goes further and faster than imagined... the true pleasure... :)
